Federal riding associations’ nominations for Parliament or Senate may not be overridden by a party leader or executive.
The Prime Minister and Speaker shall be elected from the membership of Parliament.
Parliamentary caucuses may not eject an elected member from their caucus.
Only an active vote of non-confidence may cause the defeat of a government. Ordinary non-financial bills be not be deemed a matter of confidence.
